Aiming for the creation of a healthy and rich diet and the establishment of a healthy society

Thank you very much for your continued support.

Yukiguni Maitake first succeeded in the artificial cultivation of maitake mushrooms in the 1980s; until then, maitake was known as a phantom mushroom for its rareness. Since then, we have continued to pursue further improvement on quality, and in the 2000s we developed the base product of our current “Kiwami” line, which is a symbolic lineup of premium products. In the mid 2010s, we succeeded in upgrading all of our regular maitake products into “Kiwami” products.

Also, in addition to commencing production of white maitake, eringi and buna-shimeji, our current lineup of attractive mushroom products has expanded to include button mushrooms, hon-shimeji, and hatake-shimeji. As a producer of a variety of premium mushrooms, the entire company is working together to build a strong business platform to support the healthy diet of people in Japan and overseas.

The products we develop utilize many blessings of nature, such as forest resources and water resources, and we are developing a circular procurement cycle in which we can protect and nurture these resources.

Moving forward, Yukiguni Maitake will continue to strive to produce mushrooms with health functionality born from the blessings of nature, while carrying out our social responsibility with safety and security at its core. Through strict quality control and stable production from both people and state-of-the-art technology, we will expand globally and aim for sustainable growth and a fruitful coexistence with nature while meeting the expectations of all stakeholders.

We will continue to promote operations that create healthy and rich diets and contribute to the realization of a healthy society.

We look forward to your continued support in the future.
