The Personal Information to be entered

Yukiguni Maitake Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) collects personal information submitted via the inquiry form at the top of this page (such kind of inquiry form, hereinafter referred to as the “Inquiry Form” and the personal information submitted via the Inquiry Form, hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Information”).
The Company undertakes to process the Personal Information in compliance with Act on the Protection of Personal Information as follows.

Use of the Personal Information

The Company shall use the Personal Information for the following purposes, and shall not use it other than them without the consent of the data subject. The Company will not use the Personal Information in a manner that may encourage or induce illegal or improper conducts.

  • To answer or provide information to inquiry submitted via the Inquiry Form.
  • To post the content of inquiry submitted via the Inquiry Form in Q&A, etc. on the Company’s website, after processing it in such a way that it cannot be used to identify the data subject.
  • To use the content of inquiry submitted via the Inquiry Form to improve the quality of our products and services.

Acquisition of the Personal Information

The Company will not acquire personal information through deception or other wrongful means.

The Sensitive Personal Information

The Company will not acquire any Personal Information, including sensitive personal information prescribed by Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the “Sensitive Personal Information”), without obtaining the prior consent of the data subject, except in the following cases.

  • When required by Japanese laws.
  • When it is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the data subject.
  • When it is especially necessary to improve public health or to promote the sound growth of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the data subject.
  • When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either a national agency or local government in executing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations in Japan, and obtaining the consent of the data subject is likely to impede such execution.
  • Cases in which the Company acquires the Sensitive Personal Information from academic research institution, etc., and in which relevant Sensitive Personal Information is acquired for academic research purposes (including cases in which part of the purposes of acquiring relevant Sensitive Personal Information is for academic research purposes, but excluding cases in which there is a risk of infringement of data subject’s rights and interests without any due cause). (This is limited to cases where the Company and the relevant academic research institution, etc. jointly conduct academic research.)
  • When the Sensitive Personal Information is disclosed by the data subject, a national agency, a local government, an academic or research institution, a media organization, a person engaged in writing, a religious organization, or a political organization.
  • When acquiring Sensitive Personal Information that is evident in the data subject’s external appearance by visually observing or photographing it.
  • When acquiring Sensitive Personal Information to the extent necessary for the achievement of its purpose of use due to entrustment of all or part of processing it.
  • Cases in which Sensitive Personal Information is acquired as a result of the succession of a business due to a merger or other reasons.

When sending Sensitive Personal Information of a third party via the Inquiry Form, the consent of the third party shall be required before the sending.

Provision for a third party

The Company will not provide Personal Information which constitutes informational searchable aggregate including but not limited to electronic database, for a third party without obtaining the prior consent of the data subject, except in the following cases.

  • When required by Japanese laws.
  • When it is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the data subject.
  • When it is especially necessary to improve public health or to promote the sound growth of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the data subject.
  • When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either a national agency or local government in executing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations in Japan, and obtaining the consent of the data subject is likely to impede such execution.
  • Where the third party is an academic research institution, etc., and such third party needs to process the relevant Personal Information for academic research purposes (including cases where part of the purposes of processing the relevant Personal Information is for academic research purposes, but excluding cases where there is a risk of infringement of data subject’s rights and interests without any due cause).

The following persons do not be applied under the category of a third party as described above.

  • Person for whom the relevant Personal Information is provided in connection with the entrustment of all or part of the processing of Personal Information within the scope necessary for the achievement of the above-mentioned purposes of use.
  • Person for whom the relevant Personal Information is provided as a result of the succession of business due to merger or other reasons.

Security control measures

The Company conducts internal training and internal audits regarding the processing of Personal Information, appoints managing officers of Personal Information, and takes other security control measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information.

Statutory requests

The data subject of the Personal Information may request the Company to notify the purpose of use of the relevant Personal Information, to disclose the records regarding the provision for a third party, may request the Company to correct, add, or delete contents of the relevant Personal Information in cases where they are contrary to the fact, or also may request the Company to cease providing the relevant Personal Information for a third party in cases where the Company provides the relevant Personal Information for a third party without any due causementioned above, or to delete or cease using or providing the relevant Personal Information for a third party in cases where the relevant Personal Information is processed other than the purpose of use mentioned above, used or acquired inappropriately, there is no longer need to use it, or the rights or legitimate interests of the data subject are harmed or potentially harmed due to processing the relevant Personal Information.
