I am Masafumi Yuzawa, and I have been appointed Representative Director, President and CEO since April 1, 2022.

It was in the 1980s that we succeeded in artificially cultivating maitake mushrooms, which until then had been called a phantom mushroom for its rareness. Since then, we have continued to seek further quality improvement, and in the 2000s, we developed the base product of the current "Kiwami" line that became a symbolic premium line of products later on.In mid-2010, we succeeded in upgrading all of our regular maitake products to "Kiwami".

We have also expanded our lineup of attractive mushroom products to include White Maitake, Eringi, Buna-Shimeji, Button Mushrooms, Hon- Shimeji, and Hatake-Shimeji.
As a "comprehensive manufacturer of premium mushroom", we have established a solid business foundation and are working as one to help people in Japan and abroad continue to support a healthy and enriched livelihood.
Yukiguni-Maitake will continue to fulfill its social responsibilities based on safety and security at the core. And we will meet the expectations of our stakeholders by pursuing the functionality of mushrooms, which are blessing from nature, and by strict quality control and stable production based on human technology. Also, we aim for sustainable growth and coexistence with fruitful nature.
